Hello, my name is Anna. I have been struggling with PCOS since I was 13. Polycystic ovary syndrom, PCOS, is a problem with hormones that occurs during the reproductive years. The exact cause of PCOS is unknown. I have tried many treatments to manage the symptoms of PCOS over the years, with no success. Currently there is no cure for this syndrom.

My partner and I have been trying to conceive for 9 years, with the last year being focused on fertility treatments. We had 4 unsuccessful medicated cycles, and 4 failed IUIs (8 total treatment cycles).
Despite all the years we previously spent trying to conceive naturally, this was by far the most difficult year of my life. A lot of tears and heartache came over each negative pregnancy test. It has been a struggle mentally and emotionally.

I am reaching out for help to move forward with our next journey of IVF, by donating to our fundraiser. We are seeking financial assistance with the high cost of IVF and medications, and would be beyond grateful for any assistance. A single $1 would mean more than anything to us.
